Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Tax Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Directs enterprise payroll tax strategy and governance for compliance across multiple entities and states
• Leads tax policy decisions, audit responses, and coordination with legal, finance, and HR departments
• Oversees technical tax architecture and manages agency notice resolution processes

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in leadership, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in leadership
• Ten or more years of progressive payroll tax experience
• Experience managing payroll tax operations for large organizations
• Proven success in leading major system conversions or complex tax configuration projects
