Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Tax Manager to oversee payroll tax functions and lead a team responsible for accounting duties related to program operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise payroll tax specialist staff and manage workload, performance, and training
  • Oversee monthly bookkeeping processes and ensure compliance with payroll tax laws
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax deposits and reports, including various IRS forms
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline preferred; Accounting major strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or payroll tax processing, including supervisory responsibilities
  • Experience with preparation and filing of Forms W-2, W-3, 1099, 1096, 941, and 940 is required
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll, payroll taxes, and accounting principles
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
