Payroll Tax Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Tax Reconciliation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve customer tax out-of-balances in a timely manner
• Process various mathematical calculations to determine solutions for tax discrepancies
• Analyze tax/payroll data and ensure compliance with tax authority requirements

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of related Payroll and/or tax experience
• Working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local tax rules and requirements
• Ability to use internal data analytics to research and resolve tax discrepancies
• Must be able to work in a high-demand, fast-paced environment
• Associates degree or higher preferred (or 3 years' experience equivalent)
