Job Summary
Collaborating with Finance and Payroll Specialists, the full-time Payroll Tax Specialist will reconcile payroll taxes, review statutory tax correspondence, and implement processes to enhance operational efficiency while working onsite in Brunswick, United States.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile payroll taxes after each pay period and monitor tax filings along with associated notices
- Collaborate with Finance on payroll tax accruals and resolve related issues, including preparation of journal entries
- Create and maintain specialized tax reports and forms within third-party tax vendor software
Required qualifications
- 3 to 4 years of experience with payroll tax and compliance matters; Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
- Workday experience is required, with ADP SmartCompliance experience preferred
- Enrolled Agent designation is preferred
- Strong reconciliation skills and proficiency in MS Excel for creating and reconciling payroll and tax-related data
- Experience preparing periodic tax forms and tax filings
