Job Summary
Supporting US customers in managing mission-critical payroll workflows, the full-time remote Payroll Technical Support Engineer will combine technical troubleshooting with payroll product expertise to resolve issues impacting pay accuracy and prevent risks.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve payroll-related escalations, ensuring accurate data flow between systems and integrations
- Advise customers on payroll configurations and best practices while troubleshooting compliance issues
- Identify misconfigurations and recommend process improvements to enhance payroll operations
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of technical support experience with payroll applications or HR SaaS systems
- Strong understanding of payroll systems and related business processes
- Experience troubleshooting complex customer issues and performing root cause analysis
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and database concepts, including SQL
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and drive tasks forward
