PBM Underwriter

Job Summary

As a full-time PBM Underwriter working remotely, the candidate will manage financial proposals to attract and retain clients, utilizing proprietary models and data analysis to support pharmacy benefit management initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize Underwriting and Pricing Models, Excel, and SQL for financial modeling of client pharmacy spend
• Analyze pharmacy claims data and develop reports for various business units
• Support financial aspects of PBM RFPs and client evaluations, coordinating necessary data requests

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Math, Computer Science, Statistics, or IT preferred
• 1-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst in Pharmacy Benefits Management or related fields
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analytics using tools such as Excel, SAS, SQL, and Power BI
• Strong understanding of system architecture and enterprise solutions
• Ability to think strategically and manage time effectively
