PBM Underwriter

Job Summary

Managing the underwriting strategy for PBM opportunities, the full-time remote PBM Underwriter will oversee the underwriting process for RFPs, analyze financial data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support contract negotiations and pricing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and implement underwriting strategies for PBM opportunities
• Drive the full underwriting process for traditional and pass-through PBM RFPs, evaluating quantitative elements and collaborating with various teams
• Monitor industry trends and competitors while streamlining processes for efficiency and accuracy

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Three or more years of experience in complex analytical and financial analysis
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic SQL proficiency
• Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable underwriting recommendations
• Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
