PBX Operator

Job Summary

To support a fast-paced clinic, the PRN PBX Operator will manage incoming calls, direct communications, and assist with telephone system inquiries, working onsite and remotely as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls to the hospital switchboard and direct them to the appropriate locations
• Document page requests and assist with basic telephone system operations
• Perform overhead pages to locate physicians and relay information to staff and visitors

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience in a communication or dispatch center, such as Dispatcher or Customer Service Representative
• Preferred two years of experience in a hospital setting
