P&C Actuary Consultant - ACAS

Job Summary

Responsible for executing and managing projects in support of P&C insurance reserving, the fully remote P&C Actuary Lead Consultant - Reserving will utilize actuarial and statistical standards to evaluate reserve adequacy, monitor emerging loss trends, and lead the creation of reserve narratives while collaborating with finance and claims teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides thought and technical leadership, contributing to improvement and innovation as a subject matter expert
• Plans and manages complex projects using accepted project management standards with a high degree of independence
• Leads and performs complex reserve analyses using actuarial, statistical, and predictive modeling techniques to inform business decisions

Required Qualifications

• Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS)
• Five or more years of actuarial experience
• Experience completing complex actuarial analyses and applying actuarial judgment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
