Job Summary

A company is looking for a P&C Broker & Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with retail agency personnel and underwriters to ensure accurate account information
• Prepare and handle existing renewal accounts while soliciting new business from retail clients
• Manage up to 40 accounts a week, prepare market submissions, and engage with various carrier relationships

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in a commercial insurance brokerage or production underwriting environment
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
• Wholesale or retail agency/brokerage experience required
• Must be able to pass state exam and obtain insurance license
• Demonstrated understanding of insurance products and services
