P&C Insurance Data Analyst

Job Summary

To support data-driven decision-making in the insurance sector, the full-time remote P&C Insurance Data Analytics Engineer will design, build, and govern analytics-ready data assets while partnering with stakeholders to deliver scalable reporting and insights across the P&C insurance value chain.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs and develop scalable analytics solutions that support decision-making
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports using BI platforms like Sigma or Power BI to provide trusted business insights
• Define and enforce data governance standards, ensuring data quality and accuracy through validation and performance monitoring

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering within the insurance industry
• Strong experience with cloud data warehouses (preferably Snowflake) and transformation tools such as dbt
• Proficiency in SQL and experience building dashboards in BI platforms like Sigma or Power BI
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, ELT processes, and modern data architectures
