P&C Licensed Insurance Underwriter

Job Summary

To support the Property and Casualty team, the full-time P&C Licensed Insurance Underwriter will collaborate with Business Services Specialists and Customer Service Representatives to market and analyze coverage for new business, ensuring timely submission of documentation and processing of quotes and endorsements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with BSSs and CSRs to complete and submit new account submission packets to the marketplace
• Assist in analyzing and evaluating new risks while providing renewal quotes and processing endorsements as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication in the agency management system, ensuring timely updates and compliance with processes

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years in the insurance industry; an Associate degree is a plus
• Valid P&C License preferred or to be obtained within the first 6 months of employment
• Prior experience in Commercial Lines Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service is advantageous
• Basic knowledge of various P&C coverages and the ability to complete Acord forms
• Proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
