- Determine risk eligibility for programs and set appropriate coverage terms to balance customer needs with profitability
- Utilize data analytics and emerging technologies to enhance risk assessment and improve underwriting workflows
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in P&C underwriting
- Active P&C Insurance license
- Experience with technology-enabled underwriting tools such as automated workflows and predictive analytics
- Experience underwriting homeowners, condo, or comparable property risks
