Job Summary
Overseeing the financial and operational aspects of auto and medical subrogation, the full-time remote Lead Subrogation Specialist will manage accurate reserving, timely deductible reimbursements, and recovery outcomes while collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance the claims experience.
Key responsibilities
- Manage subrogation financials, ensuring accurate reserving and timely deductible reimbursements
- Conduct arbitrations for first party medical and auto damage claims, preparing respondent filings and evaluations
- Lead day-to-day subrogation operations, including oversight of email correspondence and coordination with external vendors
Required qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly in auto claims liability and subrogation
- 5+ years of experience in claims subrogation within the auto line of business
- Must hold a current Property and Casualty (P&C) or Personal Lines License in at least one U.S. State
- Prior experience handling arbitrations and conducting inbound PD subrogation reviews preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
