Job Summary
Providing in-depth technical support, the full-time PC Support Technician will deliver remote IT assistance through phone and email, troubleshoot incidents, and maintain knowledge articles while supporting a 24x7 operation that requires shift flexibility, including nights and weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Resolve basic issues remotely via phone and email support, progressing to more complex problems after training
- Document all required information in the ticketing system and knowledgebase, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Route and dispatch service requests to appropriate IT support groups for resolution
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to type 35 WPM
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
- Demonstrated experience with Mac and Windows Operating Systems and hardware
- 1-2 years of PC support, diagnostic/troubleshooting, and repair experience is desired
