PCB Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PCB Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) for electronic products, ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to gather and define design requirements throughout the design process
• Specify stack-up dimensions, electrical characteristics, part selection, and conduct design tradeoff analysis for final assembly

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in PCB design, assembly, verification, debugging, troubleshooting, and repair
• Working knowledge of circuit design, schematic capture, and analysis with Mentor Graphics or similar PCB design software
• Familiarity with industry standard electronic interfaces, including DDR3, DDR4, PCIe, I2C, SPI/QSPI, and JTAG
• Experience in VHDL/Verilog Hardware Description Languages and proficient in simulation, modeling, and analysis of electronic hardware
