PCB Design Engineer
Job Summary
Working on a temporary contract basis, the full-time PCB Design Engineer will manage the placement and routing of components for PCB designs, ensuring compliance with electrical specifications and manufacturing requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Place and route components to meet design specifications for PCBs
- Develop and generate necessary documentation for PCB fabrication and assembly
- Rework PCB designs and assist the design team in resolving engineering issues
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with at least 4 years of experience; alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
- Multiple years of experience in PCB design or equivalent education and training
- Proficiency with ECAD software applications, particularly Siemens Xpedition
- Knowledge of PCB design technologies and industry standards such as IPC and ASME/ANSI
- IT experience related to backend management of ECAD tools
