PCB Design Engineer

Job Summary

To support PCB design projects, the full-time contract PCB Design Engineer will place and route components, ensure manufacturing requirements are met, and develop documentation for PCB fabrication while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Place and route components to meet electrical and physical specifications for PCB designs
• Ensure all manufacturing and assembly requirements are fulfilled
• Develop and update drawings and documentation in response to engineering change requests

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with at least 7 years of experience, or 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
• Multiple years of experience in PCB design or equivalent education and training
• Competent skills in ECAD software applications, preferably Siemens Xpedition
• Knowledge of PCB design technologies and industry standards such as IPC and ASME/ANSI
• IT experience for backend management and maintenance of ECAD tools is preferred
