PCB Designer Lead
Job Summary
To support a collaborative engineering team, the part-time PCB Designer Lead will design and develop PCB layouts for circuit card assemblies, ensuring compliance with manufacturing requirements while working remotely on a temp-to-perm basis.
Key responsibilities
- Design PCB layouts by placing and routing components according to design requirements
- Create and maintain documentation to support PCB fabrication and assembly
- Update and rework PCB designs in response to engineering changes and collaborate with the design team to resolve issues
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 13+ years of experience in PCB layout design
- Associate, Bachelor's, or Master's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Competent skills with ECAD software applications, specifically Siemens Xpedition
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC and ASME/ANSI for design and documentation
