PCB Layout Engineer

Job Summary

Designing complex, multi-layer PCBs, the full-time PCB Layout Engineer will utilize Cadence Allegro to create high-density layouts, manage design checks, and collaborate with engineering teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design complex, 30+ layer PCBs with multiple high-density BGAs using Cadence Allegro
• Build symbols, develop stackups, and manage design rule checks while collaborating with electrical and mechanical engineers
• Interface with suppliers to resolve manufacturing-related issues and check peer designs for accuracy

Required qualifications

• Advanced skills in Cadence Allegro and familiarity with CAM 350, OrCad, or comparable tools
• Experience with mixed signal high-speed digital designs ranging from 100MHz to 224GHz
• Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for test (DFT) principles
• 4+ years of experience in PCB design with a strong understanding of electronics
• Familiarity with fabrication and assembly processes and materials
