PCB Layout Engineer

Job Summary

To support the build of a secure space satellite communication system, the long-term contract PCB Layout Engineer will work remotely during PST hours, focusing on dense digital board layouts and utilizing advanced ECAD tools for complex multilayer board designs.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and support printed circuit board assembly for high-performance electronic systems
• Utilize Siemens Xpedition, HyperLynx, and Validate tools for PCB layout and drafting
• Interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and ECAD libraries to ensure accurate designs

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in PCB layout, drafting, or board design support
• Proficient in Siemens Xpedition, HyperLynx, and Validate tools
• Experience with 20+ layer board designs and auto routing strategies
• Solid understanding of high-speed digital layout principles, including DDR4 and analog/RF circuit integration
• Ability to interpret schematics and mechanical drawings effectively
