Job Summary

To support a modernization initiative within the Department of State, the full-time PCS Portal Specialist will manage relocation services through the PCS Online Portal, guiding employees through the relocation process and providing end-user support while collaborating with stakeholders and software vendors.

Key responsibilities
  • Define and refine requirements for a travel management system in collaboration with software vendors and stakeholders
  • Analyze workflows to identify improvements in managing relocations, travel orders, and allowances
  • Provide timely support and training to customers, ensuring compliance with PCS processes and facilitating effective communication
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Expertise in the Department of State PCS Portal and PCS process
  • Basic understanding of passport and visa processes
  • Experience with Travel Authorizations and addressing errors in the process
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
