PE Aviation Project Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a qualified Aviation Project Engineer, this hybrid role will manage design responsibilities for airport projects, ensuring quality control and coordination of plans, while engaging with team members and occasionally observing field construction.

Key responsibilities

• Design elements such as pavement, drainage, utilities, lighting/NAVAIDS, security, and fuel facilities
• Compile and coordinate plans, specifications, cost estimates, and pay items while ensuring quality control reviews
• Develop task work plans for team members and facilitate technical meetings among design staff

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with FAA design standards
• P.E. license or plans to obtain it in the near future
• Advanced proficiency in CADD
• Ability to perform complex analysis and assemble complete design packages
