Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time PE Licensed Distribution Engineer will focus on executing distribution planning studies, including feeder capacity assessments and load growth studies, while developing and troubleshooting distribution system models using industry-standard software.

Key responsibilities
  • Support complex distribution planning and system impact studies for various utility clients
  • Develop, validate, and troubleshoot distribution system models, ensuring data quality and accuracy
  • Present technical analyses and recommendations to utility planners and stakeholders
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with distribution studies, including power flow and thermal loading analysis
  • Proficiency in industry-standard distribution planning software such as CYME, Synergi, or ETAP
  • Familiarity with GIS, SCADA, and other utility data sources
  • Must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) License
