Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time PE Licensed Distribution Engineer will focus on executing distribution planning studies, including feeder capacity assessments and load growth studies, while developing and troubleshooting distribution system models using industry-standard software.
Key responsibilities
- Support complex distribution planning and system impact studies for various utility clients
- Develop, validate, and troubleshoot distribution system models, ensuring data quality and accuracy
- Present technical analyses and recommendations to utility planners and stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with distribution studies, including power flow and thermal loading analysis
- Proficiency in industry-standard distribution planning software such as CYME, Synergi, or ETAP
- Familiarity with GIS, SCADA, and other utility data sources
- Must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) License
