Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Substation Engineer - Protection & Controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead on substation protection and control design projects from concept through execution
• Deliver high-quality engineering packages and conduct system calculations to ensure robust design performance
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate cross-functionally to meet project goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
• EIT required; PE license strongly preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in high-voltage (15-500kV) substation protection and control design
• Proven expertise in relay logic, SCADA integration, and system protection
• Strong commitment to technical excellence and mentoring junior engineers
