PE Licensed Lead Transmission Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Transmission Line group, the full-time PE Licensed Lead Transmission Engineer will design high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD software, collaborate with project teams, and act as a client contact while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop construction documents for high voltage transmission lines, including project design criteria and detailed drawings
• Facilitate collaboration between disciplines and manage client relationships to determine project scope and requirements
• Estimate construction costs and specify materials while coordinating specific design aspects of projects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in Transmission Line Engineering or related fields
• PE license is required
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE is preferred
• Previous experience working with or for a Utility is highly preferred
