PE Licensed Lead Transmission Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a PE Licensed Lead Transmission Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for designing high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD, collaborating with project teams, and managing client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Design high voltage transmission lines and develop construction documents, including project design criteria and drawings
- Facilitate collaboration among project team members and act as the primary client contact to define project scope and requirements
- Estimate construction costs and specify materials while coordinating specific design aspects of projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in Transmission Line Engineering or related fields
- PE license is required
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE is preferred
- Experience working with or for a utility is highly preferred
