PE Licensed Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote full-time PE Licensed Mechanical Project Engineer, the successful candidate will manage engineering tasks for gas transmission and natural gas pipeline projects, collaborate with senior engineers, and ensure quality control while estimating engineering hours for proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Unit Leaders to progress complex engineering designs
• Prepare complex technical analyses and ensure projects meet specifications and design requirements
• Direct activities of engineers, drafters, and designers while sharing information with internal and external stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the pipeline industry or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
• Experience with gas facility work is a plus
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is advantageous
