PE Licensed MOT Senior Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting large transformative transportation projects, the full-time remote PE Licensed MOT Senior Engineer will lead the development of complex Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) and construction staging plans, ensuring safety and mobility for multi-billion-dollar programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of MOT and construction staging plans for major highway and bridge projects
• Coordinate with various teams to integrate MOT with overall project phasing and perform operational analyses
• Mentor junior and mid-level MOT staff while serving as a primary technical contact for MOT design issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in transportation engineering with a focus on MOT design
• Strong knowledge of MUTCD and state DOT MOT standards
• Demonstrated experience leading MOT designs for complex freeway or major bridge projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
