PE Licensed Structural Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Structural Engineer - Hydropower.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop or oversee civil/structural designs for field installations across water and energy projects
• Interface with engineering consultants, permitting specialists, and construction teams
• Support planning, budgeting, and design validation for multiple deployment sites

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of experience in civil or structural engineering roles, preferably in water and infrastructure
• Experience designing or managing the deployment of hydraulic or water-adjacent structures
• Proficient in tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HEC-RAS; experience with site-specific permitting is a plus
• PE license strongly preferred
• Track record of managing vendors, contractors, or fabricators in a field deployment context
