Job Summary
Leading and inspiring a talented team, the full-time PE Licensed Structural Engineering Manager will oversee structural engineering designs for utilities and EPC partners, manage project resources and budgets, and guide engineers through complex substation projects in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team in delivering structural engineering designs for utilities
- Provide strategic oversight for project resources, budgets, and client relationships
- Review and approve design packages, drawings, and specifications for technical excellence
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Structural Engineering and an active PE license; SE and/or PMP is a plus
- 15+ years of experience in structural engineering, including 4+ years in leadership
- Knowledge of codes and standards (ASCE-7, IBC, ACI, AISC) and structural system design
- Proficiency with engineering applications, including structural calculation software and Microsoft Office
- Passion for mentorship, innovation, and collaborative leadership
