PE Licensed Substation Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Substation Civil/Structural Engineer to provide technical support and direction for their Substation Design Team in a remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for substation engineering and consulting services
- Create civil and structural design deliverables for electric substation projects
- Lead and mentor teams of engineers and designers, ensuring project success
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 7+ years of related experience for Senior Engineer I, 10+ years for Senior Engineer II, and 15+ years for Senior Engineer III, with PE required for Senior Engineer III
- Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer registration strongly preferred
- Experience with structural design and relevant software such as STAAD or RISA
- Ability to work effectively with remote team members and manage multiple complex assignments
