Job Summary

Seeking a talented and ambitious PE Licensed Substation Engineer, the full-time remote position will focus on providing technical support for physical and protection & control projects, preparing designs and execution plans, and ensuring project success through collaboration with small project teams.

Key responsibilities
  • Prepare conceptual designs, execution plans, and engineering/project cost estimates for substation projects
  • Perform quality reviews and prepare construction drawings, calculations, and reports for medium and high voltage substations
  • Coordinate with multi-discipline project teams and provide weekly updates on project milestones and progress
Required qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in the Substation/Power Delivery field
  • Experience with high voltage substation design (12kV through 500kV) including various diagrams and layouts
  • Knowledge of Protection and Controls design is essential
  • B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and a PE license are required
  • Ability to interpret and apply standards such as IEEE, IEC, and NESC
