PE Licensed Substation Engineer

Job Summary

Acting as a technical leader, the full-time remote Lead Substation Electrical Owner's Engineer will manage project reviews, make design recommendations for utility substations, and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and conduct detailed reviews of all phases of assigned project work
• Make design recommendations and modifications for utility substations and relay automation equipment
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers on complex substation projects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree is a plus
• PE registration is required
• 7+ years of substation engineering experience
• Proficiency in substation protection and control design, as well as SCADA design and industry standards
• Experience in reviewing and producing design drawings, including one-line and three-line diagrams
