Job Summary
Leading a talented team, the full-time remote PE Licensed Substation Protection & Control Engineering Manager will oversee protection and control designs for utilities, manage project resources and budgets, and guide engineers through complex projects while fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team in delivering protection & control designs
- Provide strategic oversight for project resources, budgets, and client relationships
- Review and approve design packages, drawings, and specifications for technical excellence
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering and an active PE license; PMP is a plus
- 15+ years of experience in protection & control or power systems engineering, including 4+ years in leadership
- Advanced expertise in P&C engineering for high-voltage substations
- Deep knowledge of utility industry standards
- Passion for mentorship, innovation, and collaborative leadership
