PE Licensed Substation Team Lead

Job Summary

Leading a team in the detailed design of electric power substations, the full-time PE Licensed Substation Team Lead will manage project planning, oversee design activities, and ensure adherence to engineering standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the production of detailed design packages and manage team performance to ensure project efficiency
• Coordinate design activities and maintain project budgets while addressing and mitigating project risks
• Support business development efforts and maintain client relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or civil engineering or a similar field from an accredited institution
• 5+ years of engineering or relevant field experience
• FE licensure required; PE licensure preferred
• Expertise in physical substation design and familiarity with structural engineering principles
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
