PE Licensed System Protection Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a System Protection Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts protective relay settings and coordination studies, including short-circuit analysis and protection system event analysis
• Develops test plans, assists in commissioning, and ensures compliance with NERC PRC standards
• Provides technical guidance to other engineers and oversees project phases

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent
• PE License or ability to obtain within 1 year
• 4+ years of engineering experience in system modeling and fault analysis
• Strong knowledge in relay coordination studies and protective relay settings for systems up to 345 kV
• Familiarity with NERC PRC standards and relevant protection system engineering practices
