PE Licensed Traffic Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Traffic / ITS Engineer to work remotely supporting various offices across the Greater Midwest and Greater Southwest.

Key Responsibilities

• Support a team in delivering traffic analysis, safety studies, and conceptual planning/design
• Produce technical deliverables including plans, specifications, and reports while coordinating with other disciplines and clients
• Independently perform design tasks and assist in business development efforts for project opportunities

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience
• Professional Engineering (PE) License or Professional Traffic Operations Engineering (PTOE) License
• Preferred minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in traffic control and ITS engineering
• Experience with traffic simulation software and design platforms
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team as required
