PE Licensed Traffic Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Traffic / ITS Engineer to work remotely supporting various offices across the Greater Midwest and Greater Southwest.

Key Responsibilities

• Support traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, simulation, and planning/design
• Produce technical deliverables including plans, specifications, estimates, and reports
• Coordinate with other discipline groups and manage project tasks independently

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience
• Professional Engineering (PE) License or Professional Traffic Operations Engineering (PTOE) License
• Minimum 7 years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in traffic control design and ITS engineering (preferred)
• Experience with traffic simulation software and design platforms
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
