PE Senior Transmission Line Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a talented and motivated PE Senior Transmission Line Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for designing high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD software, facilitating collaboration among project teams, and developing construction documents.

Key responsibilities

• Design high voltage transmission lines and develop construction documents including project design criteria and drawings
• Act as the primary client contact to determine project scope and requirements while coordinating design aspects and estimating construction costs
• Provide expert consultation and facilitate collaboration between various disciplines to ensure project success

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, including 8 years in Transmission Line Engineering or related fields
• PE license is required
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred
• Previous experience working with or for a Utility is highly preferred
