PE Transmission Line Engineer
Job Summary
Offering flexible remote work arrangements, the full-time PE Transmission Line Engineer will provide technical leadership for high voltage overhead transmission line projects, including planning, design, and client interactions while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and execute engineering for transmission projects up to 765kV, maintaining project schedules and facilitating communication across multidisciplinary teams
- Support Project Managers in developing project scope, schedule, and budget, while providing regular project updates and fostering client relationships
- Contribute to departmental support activities, including resource forecasting, recruitment efforts, and business improvement methodologies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 7-10 years of experience in transmission project design and management
- Professional Engineering (PE) licensure
- Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to company policies
