PE Transmission Line Project Engineer
Job Summary
Offering a flexible remote work arrangement, the PE Transmission Line Project Engineer will provide technical leadership for high voltage overhead transmission line projects, including planning, design, and client interactions, while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and execute engineering for transmission projects up to 765kV, maintaining project schedules and facilitating communication across multi-disciplinary teams
- Support Project Managers in developing project scope, schedule, and budget while providing regular project updates and forecasts
- Participate in industry conferences and contribute to business planning and resource forecasting efforts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 7-10 years of experience in transmission project design and management
- Professional Engineering (PE) licensure
- Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite
