Job Summary

To lead the clinical development of biopharmaceutical research programs focused on gene therapies, the full-time Global Medical Lead, Biopharma, Pediatrics will oversee clinical trials, design development plans, and collaborate with various stakeholders while working in a hybrid environment based in Northbrook, IL.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee ongoing clinical trials to ensure participant safety and well-being
• Design and draft clinical development plans and protocols for assigned programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with external stakeholders, including physicians and regulators

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in a relevant specialty, such as general pediatrics or child neurology
• 3 or more years of clinical practice experience and biopharmaceutical industry experience
• Proven track record in clinical study design and execution
• Unrestricted medical licensure in one or more jurisdictions
