Job Summary
To support a growing initiative in pediatric mental health, the remote Pediatric Mental Health Therapist will provide high-quality virtual counseling and therapeutic interventions to K-12 students, collaborating with school personnel and families while managing a caseload of clients.
Key responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based virtual mental health counseling and therapeutic interventions to students
- Conduct initial assessments, create treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with the care management team and participate in clinical team activities
Required qualifications
- Current and unrestricted license to practice independently
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a school-based setting or with school-aged children
- Ability to obtain an acceptable Fingerprint (FBI) Criminal Background check upon hire
- Strong knowledge of diagnosis, assessment practices, and treatment strategies for children
- Willingness to gain licensure in other states as needed
