Pediatric Profee Coding Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Coding Consultant (Pediatric - General Surgery/Ortho/ENT) - Full Time - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign accurate codes to meet client needs
• Conduct data quality reviews to ensure compliance with coding guidelines
• Identify documentation improvement opportunities and coding issues

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of profee coding experience
• AHIMA or AAPC certified credentials (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC)
• Experience with computerized encoding and abstracting software
• Must pass annual Introductory HIPAA examination and other assigned testing
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
