Peer Learning Support Aide

Job Summary

Currently enrolled UAGC students in good academic standing will find a part-time remote opportunity as a Peer Learning Support Aide, responsible for providing academic tutoring to first-year students, evaluating learning resources, and gaining training in teaching and usability evaluation.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing 1:1 tutoring support to first-year UAGC students through various online platforms
• Conducting usability reviews of learning support resources and offering actionable recommendations for improvement
• Maintaining records of student interactions and participating in scheduled meetings with supervisors

Required qualifications:

• Currently enrolled UAGC student in good academic standing
• Successful completion of first-year courses with a minimum grade of B+
• Able to work 5-10 hours per week
• Knowledge and experience using Zoom and Microsoft Office 365
• Ability to evaluate online content from a student perspective and provide constructive feedback
