Peer Navigator (Georgia Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Peer Navigator (ETS) on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide effective services for successful linkage and adherence to healthcare, following a project curriculum and reporting progress
• Assist in conducting comprehensive assessments and service plans, focusing on healthcare retention activities
• Facilitate access to primary medical care and necessary services to enhance clients' capacity to remain in healthcare

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Familiarity with the criminal justice system, either through personal experience or work in a jail setting
• Experience in recovery from drug and/or alcohol use disorder, or familiarity through friends/family
• Knowledge of HIV and PrEP services in the greater Atlanta area
• Ability to communicate clearly in plain English to individuals with varying education levels
• Willingness to learn case management principles and community resources
