Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coordinator, P2P Appeals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Peer to Peer calls with medical directors and follow up on past scheduled cases
  • Document information from payer calls and enter account status into multiple databases
  • Support various departmental functions such as case entry, Peer to Peer, and appeals support
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Call center experience preferred
  • Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with basic formula usage and keyboard skills (minimum 30wpm)
  • Prior experience accessing hospital EMRs and Payer Portals preferred
