Peer to Peer Appeals Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coordinator, P2P Appeals.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to schedule Peer to Peer calls and follow up on past scheduled cases
• Document information from payer calls and update account status in multiple databases
• Support various departmental functions including case entry, Peer to Peer, and appeals support

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Call center experience preferred
• Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care is a plus
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with keyboard skills of at least 30 wpm
• Prior experience accessing hospital EMRs and Payer Portals preferred
