Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coordinator, P2P Appeals.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to schedule Peer to Peer calls and follow up on past scheduled cases
- Document information from payer calls and update account status in multiple databases
- Support various departmental functions including case entry, Peer to Peer, and appeals support
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Call center experience preferred
- Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care is a plus
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with keyboard skills of at least 30 wpm
- Prior experience accessing hospital EMRs and Payer Portals preferred
