Peer to Peer Appeals Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coordinator, P2P Appeals.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule Peer to Peer calls with medical directors and follow up on past scheduled cases
• Document information from payer calls in the proprietary system and enter account status into multiple databases
• Support various departmental functions including case entry, Peer to Peer, and appeals support

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Call center experience preferred
• Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care product lines is a plus
• Prior experience with hospital EMRs and Payer Portals preferred
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel with accurate keyboard skills (minimum 30 wpm)
